Paragraph of A Postman
A
postman is a petty public servant who works in the post office.
He is a very familiar
figure and a good friend to the people. He is known as ‘dak peon’. He puts on a khaki dress and a turban on his head. He
carries a bag containing letters, parcels, money orders, interview letters,
appointment letters and other postal articles. He brings good news and
sometimes sad. His daily duty begins in the post office. There he sorts postal
items. Then he goes to his particular area. He goes from house to house even a
fair weather or foul. He has to walk a long distance to does his duty. Though
he does great service to the society, he gets very poor salary. So most often
he leads a very poor life. Considering his great service he should be given
good salary.
