Paragraph of A BOOK FAIR
First:
A
book fair is mainly held to create demands of books among the readers.
Now-a-days book fairs are becoming more and more popular in Bangladesh .
Every year book fair is held at Bangla
Academy in memory of the
Language Movement. In a book fair hundreds of leading publishers set up stalls.
All sorts of books ------ text books, fictions, dramas, children books,
reference books are displayed. Book fairs serve two purposes at a time. They
create a taste for reading while the authors and book-sellers get a chance for
publicity. At the fairs people can buy books on cheaper rate. A book fair
becomes crowded in the evening. Both male and female customers gather in a book
fair. The writers also visit the fair regularly. Seminars, recitation of poems
and cultural programmes are also held. Besides these, cassettes of Rabindra
Sangeet, Nazrul Geeti and folk songs display for sale. At one corner of a fair
the visitors can find a few stalls for selling snacks. A book fair bears the
taste and the national culture of a country. A book fair reminds us that books
are our best friend. They change outlook on life and widens our area of
knowledge. A book fair is a noble venture and it demands a success.
